Little pockets of happiness = HAM ‘N CHEESE PUFF PASTRY POCKETS 🧀These homemade hot pockets are an easy lunch, after-school snack, or quick appetizer, these warm pockets are comfort food made simple.
Ingredients
2 sheets of puff pastry, defrosted
18 slices of ham
9 slices of cheese
mayonnaise
Dijon mustard (optional)
1 eggs, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
Lay puff pastry sheets flat and cut into squares, then space half of the squares them evenly on a baking sheet. Drizzle a little mayonnaise in the center of each square.
Top with 1 to 2 slices of ham, keeping the edges clear. Repeat with cheese on top, leaving the edges uncovered so they seal properly. For extra flavor, spread a little Dijon mustard over the filling.
Cover with the second puff pastry square and press the edges to seal. Crimp with a fork, then slice the top to vent. Brush with egg wash for a golden finish.
Bake at 400°F for 20–25 minutes, until crispy, puffed, and beautifully golden brown.
