A person CANNOT get the Flu or Covid-19 from the vaccines.
The Flu & Covid-19 vaccines are safe & effective.
Flu is very common in the US during the fall and winter. Millions of people get sick, hundreds of thousands are hospitalized, and tens of thousands die from the flu every year.
The Flu vaccine reduces the risk of getting sick or hospitalized with the flu.
The Covid-19 vaccination helps protect people from getting sick or severely ill with Covid-19 and might also help protect people around them.
Most health insurance companies cover the flu & Covid-19 vaccine. There is usually no out of pocket cost. Pharmacies can bill the following: Medicare B, HMSA, Kaiser, UHA, HMAA, HMA, PSWA.
Vaccination may not prevent the disease in 100% of individuals. Persons should consult their healthcare provider to determine if they have a condition that precludes them from receiving a vaccine. Diabetes Support

Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support (DSMES): For people with diabetes. Join a KTA Pharmacist for a 1 hour one-on-one appointment, and eight weekly group sessions to learn about healthy eating, being active, taking medication, monitoring, reducing risks, problem solving, healthy coping and receive an introduction to diabetes and prediabetes.

Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP): For people with prediabetes. This year-long lifestyle change program will help you reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Taught by one of our certified lifestyle coaches, you will learn how to eat right, stay active and reduce stress.

How it works:

Call the KTA Puainako Pharmacy to fill your prescription.
Request for curbside pick up.
Drive to KTA during the KTA Pharmacy Curbside Delivery hours.
Look for the Curbside Pick-Up Stalls, park and wait in your car.
Call us on the number on the Stall Sign to let us know you’ve arrived. We’ll be right out with your prescription!

Curbside Pick-Up is for prescriptions only. Debit or Credit Card Payments only.
