How do I book my travel?

Customers must book an eligible flight and hotel packages through the Japan Airlines Vacations

Eligible Packages: All Japan Airlines Vacations flight & hotel packages with round-trip flights from Kona to any city in Japan including flights with connections via Honolulu between July 23, 2024 to September 30, 2024 are eligible. Discounts will be applied via promotional code: JALKTA

What are the Valid Purchase Dates and Travel Periods?

Valid Purchase Period is from May 13, 2024 to July 31, 2024  
Valid Travel Period is between July 23, 2024  and September 30, 2024

How can I pay for the Travel Flights?

Payment will be accepted through Japan Airlines Vacations.

What information will I need to make Travel Reservations?

Required

1. Full Name, Date of Birth, and Gender of All Travelers - as shown on a valid passport

What is included in the Japan Airlines Vacations Package?

Round-trip flights and hotels are included according to your selection. Optional activities, etc. can also be purchased with your package.

Are we able to select our seats on the airplane?

Yes, you can select your seats at check-out from Japan Airlines Vacations which is recommended, or at the airport check-in counter.

Is the discount eligible for premium economy and business classes?

Packages with premium economy and business classes when available, are also eligible for discounts.

Is there an age limit for discounts on Japan Airlines Vacations?

Infants under the age of 2 on the day of departure are not eligible for a discount whether they occupy seats or not. No unaccompanied minors are allowed.

What is your cancellation policy?

This offer is for a Japan Airlines Vacations Package Holiday, a combination of your flight, hotel, and other options such as activities, etc. If you wish to cancel your booking, the cancellation terms shall be as set out below.

The following charges will apply effective from the date we receive your cancellation notification:

-Regarding a Package Holiday-
Number of days (before departure) & Charge

• 15 days or more: 350 USD per person (35 USD for infants without occupying seats)
• 14 days to 8 days: 50% of package price
• 7 days or less: 100% of package price

** To cancel a trip for some of the participants is not acceptable. However, for traveler's convenience, changes or modifications to the original booking are considered on a case-by- case basis and are not guaranteed. In this case, we would calculate the balance of the new booking and the original booking upon your request. (Cancellation charge for cancel traveler is mandatory as above)

Does the airline charge for luggage?

Economy Class
Two checked baggage weighing up to 50lbs (23kg) each is allowed free of charge. The total outside dimensions of each baggage (length + width + height) including wheels and handle(s) must not exceed 80in (203cm).

*JMB FLY ON members are eligible to check one additional piece under the free baggage allowance.

In addition, passengers may carry on board a total of 22lbs (10kg) including one personal belonging; such as a shopping bag or handbag, and one baggage with a sum of three dimensions not more than 45in (115cm), and each dimension is less than W22 in x H16in x D10in (W55cm x H40cmx D25cm).

What are the restrictions for carry-on luggage?

You may carry onboard one bag containing personal belongings (shopping bag, handbag, etc.) and one additional bag that meets the following conditions, with the total weight of both bags not to exceed 22lbs.

Length + Width + Height: within 45 in
Size Limits
Width: within 22 in.
Height: within 16 in.
Depth: within 10 in.
Maximum weight: 22 lbs.

Is there a limit to how many tickets we can purchase for a group?

Bookings on Japan Airlines Vacations is for FIT (Fully Independent Travelers) bookings. The number of passengers is limited to nine passengers per booking. For group bookings of 10 or more passengers, please contact a travel agency.

Is there an age limit for the discount for this promotion?
