Ingredients
2 lbs. of ground pork
2 cups Napa cabbage, finely chopped
2 cups shiitake mushrooms, finely chopped
8 oz. can water chestnuts, drained, finely chopped
½ cup garlic chives, thinly sliced
2 tbsp. garlic, minced
2 tbsp. ginger minced
2 tbsp. light soy sauce
3 tbsp. oyster sauce
2 tbsp. sesame oil
2 tbsp. rice wine vinegar
½ tsp. white pepper
non-stick cooking spray
36 medium size square wonton wrappers
1 cup chicken broth or water
chili crisps for garish
green onions for garish
sesame seeds for garish
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F. In a large bowl combine pork, napa cabbage, shiitake mushrooms, water chestnuts, garlic chives, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, white pepper and mix until combined.
Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Lay 12 wonton wrappers evenly on the bottom of the baking dish. Spread half the pork mixture evenly over the wonton wrappers. Place 12 more wrappers on top over the pork mixture. Spread the remainder of the pork mixture on top of the wonton wrappers creating two layers of pork mixture. Lay the remaining 12 wonton wrappers on top creating three layers of wonton wrappers. Pour one cup of chicken broth over the final layer of wonton wrappers.
Cover the larger dish tightly with foil and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Garnish with chili crisp, green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
